Oven or Air Fryer Kale Chips (Vegan & Keto)
Kale chips are a light, crispy, and flavorful snack, perfect for those following a keto or vegan diet. With just a few ingredients and very little time, you can prepare a healthy alternative to potato chips, low in carbs and rich in nutrients. Ideal for snacking between meals or serving alongside your favorite dishes.
Ingredientes
- 1 large bunch of kale
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- A pinch of salt and pepper
- Nutritional yeast flakes (optional, for a “cheesy” flavor)

- Preheat the oven to 130°C (265°F).
- Wash and dry the kale leaves thoroughly. Remove the central stems and tear the leaves into medium-sized pieces.
- Season with olive oil, salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast. Massage with your hands to coat evenly.
- Place the leaves on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, in a single layer.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, checking often to prevent burning.
- Let them cool before serving so they become crispier.
Air Fryer Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 140–150°C (285–300°F).
- Prepare the leaves as in the oven version (washed, dried, stems removed, seasoned).
- Place them in the basket in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary).
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving: they will become even crispier.
